How to Find Accommodation for WEF Davos 2027

Accommodation is the single biggest constraint on attending the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting. The town of Davos has a fixed number of beds, the dates are immovable, and demand vastly outstrips supply. If you are planning to be in Davos in January 2027, securing where you sleep should come before almost everything else on your list.
Book as early as you can
The first rule of Davos accommodation is that there is no such thing as "too early." Many of the best apartments and chalets are reserved a full year in advance, often by the same companies returning season after season. By the autumn before the meeting, central options are largely gone. If you are reading this with months to spare, treat that as an advantage and act on it now rather than waiting for your agenda to firm up.
Decide what you actually need
Before comparing listings, get clear on a few things:
- How many people are travelling, and do they need privacy from one another?
- Do you need to host? Dinners and meetings at your accommodation change what kind of property works.
- How close to the Congress Centre do you need to be, and what is your tolerance for transfers?
A solo delegate attending sessions has very different needs from a team hosting investors every evening. Matching the property to the use case matters more than chasing the most prestigious address.
Understand the trade-off between location and space
Central Davos Platz puts you within walking distance of the official programme and the Promenade, but space comes at a premium. Davos Dorf and Klosters offer larger, more private properties in exchange for a short transfer. There is no universally correct answer — only the right answer for your week.
Watch out for the common mistakes
The recurring errors we see are: booking too late and overpaying for whatever is left; underestimating minimum-stay requirements (most properties require at least five nights during the meeting); and choosing on price without checking how transfers will actually work each morning. A property that looks like a bargain can cost you hours and missed meetings if the logistics are wrong.
Use verified listings and a concierge
Davos attracts opportunistic listings during the meeting. Working from verified accommodation — properties that have been checked for location, condition, and reliability — removes a category of risk you do not want to discover on arrival. A concierge team adds the layer that listings alone cannot: transfers, catering, and the local knowledge to fix problems before they reach you.
